Why 42?

The answer:

“42” is the shortest and most well-known quote from the “Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy” series of novels by Douglas Adams. It’s the answer to the question “about life, the universe and everything” which the author intentionally left ambiguous. The largest computer in existence 7.5 million years from now calculates the answer: “42.” “42” quickly became a buzzword, especially on the Internet.

To our company, this means “42” is the answer to every (IT) question.
